Connect Scan to Sheets to Google Sheets

The app has two connection methods. Pick one below and follow only that path.

Choose from Google Drive

Sign in with Google, grant Drive and Sheets access, then pick or create a spreadsheet. The app talks to Google from your device. Use this when you want to browse Drive or skip sharing an app email.

What to prepare

  • A Google account that can open the spreadsheet.
  • Internet for sign-in and loading Drive files.
  • After Google Continue, search or create a spreadsheet, then choose a worksheet.

01

Sign in and authorize

On Connect, choose Choose from Google Drive, tap Sign in with Google, keep both Google Drive and Google Sheets selected, then tap Continue. Revoke later at Google Account permissions.

02

Map columns if you need a form

After you pick a spreadsheet and worksheet, tap Edit column mapping if you need extra fields. Column names follow Google Sheets.

03

Check that the connection worked

Connect should show the spreadsheet title. Send a test scan from Home. The row should appear in the selected Google Sheets tab.

04

Start scanning

Return to Home, scan a barcode or QR code, complete any form fields, then send. Need help? Support.

If something goes wrong

  • Sign-in cancelled or failed. Finish the Google screen and grant both permissions.
  • Spreadsheets could not be loaded. Check the network, then tap Try again.
  • No spreadsheets found. Create one in the app, or sign in with the account that owns the files.
  • The spreadsheet could not be opened. Confirm that account can edit the file, then pick it again.
