Columns and suggested data types
Row 1 of the sheet holds the column names. In the app, give each column one of these types and the scan form fills itself in.
| Column | App data type | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Time | Timestamp | The check-in time, recorded on scan. |
| Badge ID | QR / Barcode | The badge or QR code value. |
| Name | Text | Optional — or look it up later from the Badge ID. |
| Event | Select | Shift, class or session name. |
| Status | Select | For example Checked in or Checked out. |
| Note | Text | Anything worth remembering. |
Tip
Use one worksheet per event or day so rosters stay separate, and generate the badge QR codes with the QR code generator.
